Welcome to the BC Bargaining Database

PLEASE NOTE - We are currently undergoing site reconstruction. A brand new BC Bargaining Database website will be launched in the later half of 2013. In the meantime, please note that much of the information currently available on this site may be out of date. If you have any questions, please contact Valerie Foster at valerie.foster@bcbc.com .

Welcome to the BC Bargaining database! This website provides general statistical information on collective agreement settlements in British Columbia. Statistical information will include:
  • Monthly & Quarterly reports on wage settlements reports, work stoppages, and the status of negotiations throughout the province.
  • Annual reports will include a calendar of expiring agreements, wage settlement reports, duration of agreements reports, and status of negotiations throughout the province reports.
  • Statistical information will be based on the settlements and work stoppages reported to the BC Bargaining database, the British Columbia Labour Relations Board, and the Business Council of British Columbia.
Benefits of Submitting your collective agreement

There are two major benefits to submitting your collective agreement information to the BC Bargaining database.

The first is that by submitting the details of your collective agreement to the BC Bargaining database, you increase the statistical accuracy of the reports being produced. Moreover, the statistical reports become an effective and respected tool at the bargaining table.

The second major benefit to submitting your collective agreement to the BC Bargaining database is that you satisfy your obligation under section 51 of the Labour Relations Code to submit your collective agreement to the British Columbia Labour Relations Board and you will not be required to submit an additional copy.

To submit a your collective agreement, please follow the link on the left side of the page.
